Sunday Services

Our Sanctuary is an eclectic religious community rooted in the spiritualist movement with emphasis on communication with spirit, healing and personal spiritual growth.
We believe there is truth in all religions, belief systems and schools of thought.

Sunday Gatherings

Spiritualist Sanctuaries are not like other churches, services are somewhat different, we don’t preach, we share knowledge, we aren’t a specific religion, we are eclectic and believe that truth is found in all religions, belief systems and schools of thought.

People are down to earth and most have a good sense of humor. Our Sanctuary has a few events each week of which our Sunday Service is the main event. A typical service consists of a Chair who conducts the service, a guest speaker and a guest reader. Every week is different from the last with different people on the platform.

Service includeds reciting our 7 Principles, saying the Great Invocation – with some AUM/OM-ing to raise the vibration, an opening prayer followed by us singing the “Our Father”. We have an ‘east meets west’ flare with a bit of esoteric mysticism. Our guest speakers cover a vast array of topics. The readers – psychics, clairvoyants, mediums; some of which use tools such as cards, runes or dowsing rods to relay messages from spirit to the audience. The person on the chair also does a guided meditation.

The whole service takes about an hour and a half, afterwards refreshments with lovely sandwiches and cakes are served. A time to mingle, chat and relax with like-minded people.

Sanctuary is more than a formal joining – it’s stepping into a place where hearts gather, it’s a community.

Time To Reflect & Heal

Spiritualism in a Nutshell

We are all threads in the great tapestry of spirit—woven by a divine intelligence, bound by love, and guided by unseen hands. Life does not end with death; it merely shifts form, as the soul continues its journey beyond the veil.

7 Principles of Spiritualism

Spiritualists have no fixed creed, but base the conduct of their lives on service to their fellow men in acknowledgement of Seven distinct principles to guide us throughout our spiritual path and proression of the soul.

Core Practices

Our practices reflect a vibrant, inclusive and evolving spiritual landscape—one that honours tradition while embracing innovation by welcoming people from diverse backgrounds and belief systems.
